Guest Activity Trivia Your Staff Can Run From a Tablet
Poolside, lobby bar or activity room. A quiz that a duty manager can host with no rehearsal, and that you can repeat every week because the guests are new.

Trivia on the lobby TV, from the Apple TV app. Guests join with the code in the corner.
Half the guests are not interested, and the other half arrive tomorrow.
Guest activity programmes are hard for that reason. Trivia survives it better than most things on the board. It needs no equipment, no skill level, no swimwear and no booking. Guests can join five minutes late, and a group of four strangers at a pool bar can play together.
A resort does not employ professional quizmasters. It employs a duty manager, a bar lead and a seasonal activities assistant who started last week. The person hosting only has to tap through questions on a tablet. Scoring is automatic and there is nothing to add up at the end.
And your audience rotates. A bar needs a new quiz every week because the same teams come back. You do not. Build four solid games, run them on a rotation, and most guests will only ever see one.

Six things it does for your takings.

Fills a quiet night
An activity for the dead hour after lunch.

Brings them back
A league that runs itself.

Keeps them for another round
A reason to stay in the lobby bar after dinner.

Lets you write to your regulars
Players opt in. You send the next quiz night.

Gets you talked about
A post with your name on it, every night.

Keeps the margin
Anyone on shift hosts. One flat monthly price.
How a session runs at a property.
Written down once, so whoever is on shift can run it.
Build four games
Spend a quiet week making four games properly, label them A to D, and rotate. Guests stay a few nights, so the room in front of you is mostly new. Refresh the games once a season.
Low seasonThe code in three places
The activity board, the bar top and the table cards. Guests decide to join in the first two minutes or not at all, and hunting for a code is enough friction to lose them.
Before the slotTap through
The software shows the questions, runs the timers and does the scoring. The host mostly presses next and says a few words between rounds. That is a job description you can write down and hand over.
The sessionThe winner on the screen
Announce the winner on the screen in front of the room. That is what makes the guests who watched sign up next time.
The prizeWhat does a night have to earn?
We will not promise you a sales figure. Nobody honestly can. Here is the number you have to beat, with your own prices.
Your venue
Business, the plan for venues, at €199 a month.
That is €49.75 a night. Every guest after that is margin.
Four formats to start with.

Music Bingo is part of Pro and Business. You hold whatever music licence your venue needs. Quizado does not provide one.
Straight answers.
Will a game night bring more people in?
We cannot promise a number, and you should doubt anyone who does. What we can say: a weekly game gives people a reason to choose your venue on a quiet night, the league gives teams a reason to return, and the recap gives them something to post. The free plan lets you test it on a real night before you pay.
What does it cost against what it takes?
One flat price a month, however many nights you run. Use the calculator above with your own prices. At four nights a month, a few extra guests a night cover it.
Can I contact the players afterwards?
Yes, the ones who agree. A player can opt in on their phone to hear from your venue. On Business you write to those players from Quizado, by email and as a notification in the Quizado app, and you can download the list. League players also get the standings by email in your venue's name.
Can I run the same quiz every week?
Yes, and in a hotel that is the sensible approach. Guests turn over every few nights, so you can play the same game again. Keep three or four games on rotation and refresh them once a season.
Do I need a trained host?
No, not for Trivia. The software shows the questions on screen, runs the timers and does the scoring, so the host taps next and keeps the pace. Family Face-Off and QuizoParty are run by the host from a board, and they benefit from a confident presenter.
Does it work outdoors by the pool?
Yes, as long as Wi-Fi or mobile signal reaches the deck. Every question appears on the guest phone as well as on the screen. Check coverage at the furthest sun lounger before you schedule it. If your guest Wi-Fi asks for a portal login, brief the host on how to walk someone through it.
How do international guests cope with the questions?
Choose subjects that travel. Geography, food, film, science and music work across nationalities, while local politics and domestic celebrities do not. You can write your own questions on every plan; hosting a pack you wrote needs Pro or Business.
Can I use it at more than one property?
Every plan includes one venue. Paid plans add extra venues to the same account as an add-on. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
Can we sell it as a conference add-on?
Yes. A quiz is a common evening extra for a corporate booking. Spend AI questions, on any paid plan, on a round about the client, put your logo on the screen with Business, and run it in a function room with one projector.
Do my guests need an app?
No. They scan the QR code on the screen or type the join code into a browser. No download, no account.
How many teams can play?
The free Home plan takes up to 4 player phones. Paid plans have no limit on players.
Does bar trivia work without internet?
Trivia needs a connection, because players answer on their phones. Family Face-Off, QuizoParty and Territory run with no internet from the desktop and mobile apps, on a paid plan.
Put one session on the activity board.
Open a ready-made night and put the code on the bar top. The free plan needs no card. Choose a plan after you have counted the guests.
