Restaurant Trivia Night Software That Respects the Service
A quiz built for table service, not for a shouting match. Guests answer on their phones and servers keep working the floor.

The break has its own slide, and so does your offer. Slides are part of Business.
Tuesday and Wednesday carry the same fixed costs as Saturday.
Restaurants that try trivia usually fail for one of two reasons. Either the quiz is so loud it ruins the tables that came in for dinner, or it is so long that a two-top occupies a four-top for three hours and the covers never turn.
Both are format problems, not trivia problems. The question appears on a screen and on every guest phone, and answers go in by thumb rather than by voice. There are no answer sheets to collect and no scoring pause where the whole room sits still. Servers keep taking orders through the whole thing.
Decide up front whether tonight is a dwell night or a turn night, and build the game to match. On a dwell night, run six rounds. On a turn night, run three and finish before the second seating arrives.

Six things it does for your takings.

Fills a quiet night
A fixed start time to book for, midweek.

Brings them back
A league that runs itself.

Keeps them for another round
A break slide for the dessert menu.

Lets you write to your regulars
Players opt in. You send the next quiz night.

Gets you talked about
A post with your name on it, every night.

Keeps the margin
A shift lead hosts between checks. One flat monthly price.
How a night runs in a dining room.
One person taps through the questions. Everyone else works the floor as usual.
Take bookings
Tell guests the start time, tell them the finish time, and hold tables until ten minutes past. A quiz you can staff for is worth more than a quiz you cannot predict.
The week beforeOne code on each table
The party scans it, names itself and plays as a team. Nobody hands out paper or takes names at the door.
SeatingQuiet rounds first
Build the night around Everyone Scores: every table answers on a phone within the time limit, with no buzzing and no race. Save Buzzer Race and Knockout for the final round, when dessert is already on the table.
MainsEnd on the minute
Scores land as answers arrive, so the final leaderboard is on the screen when the last question closes. There is no gap where staff mark papers and the room waits with empty glasses.
DessertWhat does a night have to earn?
We will not promise you a sales figure. Nobody honestly can. Here is the number you have to beat, with your own prices.
Your venue
Business, the plan for venues, at €199 a month.
That is €49.75 a night. Every guest after that is margin.
Three games to start with.
Straight answers.
Will a game night bring more people in?
We cannot promise a number, and you should doubt anyone who does. What we can say: a weekly game gives people a reason to choose your venue on a quiet night, the league gives teams a reason to return, and the recap gives them something to post. The free plan lets you test it on a real night before you pay.
What does it cost against what it takes?
One flat price a month, however many nights you run. Use the calculator above with your own prices. At four nights a month, a few extra guests a night cover it.
Can I contact the players afterwards?
Yes, the ones who agree. A player can opt in on their phone to hear from your venue. On Business you write to those players from Quizado, by email and as a notification in the Quizado app, and you can download the list. League players also get the standings by email in your venue's name.
Will a quiz stop me turning tables?
Only if you build it that way. You choose how many rounds run and set the timers, so a three-round game inside ninety minutes is straightforward. The scores are final when the last question closes, so there is no long wait before people leave.
Is it too loud for a dining room?
It does not have to make any noise at all. Questions appear on the screen and on guest phones, and answers go in on the phone. Use Everyone Scores rounds and the room stays at normal dinner volume.
Do my servers have to run the game?
One person taps through the questions from a tablet or laptop. There are no answer sheets to collect and no scores to add up, so the rest of the team works the floor exactly as they would on any other service.
Can tables play as one team?
Yes. Put one QR code on each table and the party joins as a single team with a name they choose. A larger party can split into two teams if they want a rivalry across the table.
Can I use photos of my own dishes in a round?
Yes, on Pro or Business. Writing questions is free on every plan. Hosting a pack you wrote needs Pro or Business, and so do your own pictures and audio. With them, a picture round of your own plates, local landmarks or ingredients is straightforward to build.
What if the same teams come every week?
That is the goal, and a league on Business gives them a season table to chase. A new team can still win a single night, because every night has its own winner.
Do my guests need an app?
No. They scan the QR code on the screen or type the join code into a browser. No download, no account.
How many teams can play?
The free Home plan takes up to 4 player phones. Paid plans have no limit on players.
Does bar trivia work without internet?
Trivia needs a connection, because players answer on their phones. Family Face-Off, QuizoParty and Territory run with no internet from the desktop and mobile apps, on a paid plan.
Try it on one midweek service.
Open a ready-made night and put a code on each table. The free plan needs no card. Choose a plan after you have counted the covers.
