Win the room. Square by square.
Every team owns a square and a picture category. Teams challenge their neighbours to duels on two chess clocks. The last team standing owns the board.
- No phones, no join code - teams answer out loud and you tap Correct or Pass
- 4 to 16 teams - the board takes a shape that fits the count
- 20 picture categories with 60 or more pictures each, free on every plan
On every plan, the free Home plan included. Runs in the browser, on iOS and Android, and as a desktop app for Mac and Windows.

Six duels in. Copper Owls already own three squares.
A game-show finale for your room.
The board is on the TV. Each team starts with one square and one category: dog breeds, flags, famous landmarks, cheeses. The app draws a challenger, and the challenger picks a neighbour to duel in that neighbour's category.
One player from each team comes up front. A picture appears, the challenger answers first, and their clock runs until they get it. Then the clock switches. The first clock at zero loses, and the winner takes every square the loser owned. If you have watched The Floor on TV, you know the feeling. Territory compared with The Floor.
The Floor is a TV show. Quizado is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the show, its producers or its broadcasters. Territory is our own game.
A duel night in five steps.
Bring the teams
Type 4 to 16 team names, or move the top teams of tonight's Trivia onto the board with one tap.
Hand out categories
A random draw from the category pool, or you choose one for each team.
Draw a challenger
A spotlight stops on one team. It picks a neighbour to challenge.
Duel on the clocks
Correct switches the clock. Pass shows the answer and costs 3 seconds.
Take the squares
The loser is out. The last team standing, or the biggest territory at the time limit, wins.
Two clocks. One picture. You judge.
The two buttons are the biggest thing on your screen, so you can judge with one thumb and keep your eyes on the players. The answer and the next three answers show on your screen only.
- Keys on a laptop: Space is Correct, P is Pass, Esc pauses both clocks
- A bad picture skips with no penalty
- Undo takes back any tap, a whole duel result included
- After a duel you choose: the winner goes again, or draw the next challenger

The room sees the picture. Only you see the answer.
Built to be watched.
The teams waiting for their turn have the best seats in the house.

The duel card
Who challenges whom, in whose category, and who answers first. One player from each team comes up front.

The duel
The picture in the middle, a clock on each side. A pass shows the answer while the same clock keeps running.

The champions
Every duel flips the loser's squares to the winner. At the end, one colour owns the board.
Everything the format needs.
Set it up in a minute, run it for half an hour.
A board for any count
4 to 16 teams. Ten teams get a 3 by 4 board with two corners cut, so nobody starts in a dead end.
Chess clocks
30 seconds per team by default, 20 to 60 if you like. A pass costs 2, 3 or 5 seconds.
20 picture categories
Flags, country shapes, landmarks, dog breeds, paintings and more. Each has 60 or more pictures, checked by hand.
An optional time limit
30, 45 or 60 minutes. When time is up, the biggest territory wins. A tie plays one last duel.
The finale after Trivia
Move the top teams of a finished Trivia night onto the board. Or play Territory on its own.
Your venue's look
The big screen shows your venue logo, font and accent colour.
Territory runs with no internet.
Nobody joins on a phone, so the whole game lives on your device. Download a Territory night, pictures included, and host it from the desktop app for Mac or Windows or the iPhone, iPad and Android apps with no connection at all.
- The board, the draw, the duels and the clocks
- Downloaded nights and their pictures
- The big screen on a second display over HDMI
- Hosting from the browser
- Downloading a new night
- Shareable recaps
Offline hosting is on paid plans and in the trial.
Play Trivia first, then crown the winners here.
Straight answers.
Is Territory free?
Yes. Territory and its 20 picture categories are on every plan, the free Home plan included. The free plan allows 2 game starts a day. Offline hosting needs a paid plan or the trial.
Do players need phones?
No. There is no join code and no player screen. Two players come up front, answer out loud, and you tap Correct or Pass.
How many teams can play?
4 to 16 teams. Any count works: the app builds a board that fits it.
How long does a game take?
Every duel knocks one team out, so 16 teams play 15 duels: about 30 to 45 minutes. Set a time limit of 30, 45 or 60 minutes if you need the night to end on time.
Can I make my own categories?
Yes. Build them in Custom Questions > Territory: a picture and an answer per question, 60 or more per category. Building is free on every plan. Hosting a night with your own pictures needs Pro or Business, the trial or the Full Event Pass.
Is this the official The Floor game?
No. Territory is Quizado's own game in the style of the TV show The Floor. Quizado is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to The Floor, its producers or its broadcasters.
Crown tonight's champions.
Open Quizado, add your teams and put the board on the TV. The first duel starts in under a minute.
