The Floor game maker

Play a game like The Floor. In your own room.

Territory turns the TV duel format into a night you can host: a board of squares on your TV, a picture category per team, and two chess clocks per duel.

  • 4 to 16 teams in a bar, at a party or in the office
  • No phones and no board game - the board is your TV
  • 20 picture categories ready, free on every plan

The Floor is a TV show. Quizado is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the show, its producers or its broadcasters. Territory is our own game.

Famous Landmarks. Copper Owls have 17 seconds left, Quiz Foxes 21.

The format, made hostable

What you loved on TV. What you need at home.

The idea is simple and it works with any group: own territory, defend it in your category, take your neighbour's in theirs. A studio needs a lit floor and a crew. You need a TV and Quizado.

The idea
How Territory does it
Everyone owns a piece of the floor
4 to 16 teams each own a square on a board on your TV
Everyone has a category
Each team gets a picture category: random draw or your choice
Duel a neighbour in their category
The app draws a challenger; the challenger picks a neighbour
Two clocks, one picture at a time
You tap Correct to switch the clocks or Pass to burn 3 seconds
The winner takes the loser's ground
The squares flip to the winner until one team owns the board

30 to 45 minutes for 16 teams
Where it works

One format, three kinds of room.

Bars and pubs

  • The finale after Trivia: the top teams move onto the board with one tap
  • Players watch the duels, so the room stays for the last round
  • Runs offline in the desktop and mobile apps when the Wi-Fi does not, on a paid plan or the trial

Parties and family nights

  • No board game to buy and nothing to set up: the board is your TV
  • Pictures, not trivia facts, so kids and grandparents can both win
  • Free on the Home plan

Offices and events

  • 16 teams on one board for a whole department
  • A hard time limit of 30, 45 or 60 minutes
  • Your own picture categories from Custom Questions: free to build, hosting needs Pro or Business, the trial or the Full Event Pass

The Floor game questions

Straight answers.

Is this the official The Floor game?

No. Territory is Quizado's own game in the style of the show. Quizado is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to The Floor, its producers or its broadcasters, and uses none of its logos, music or look.

Can I play The Floor at home?

Yes, with Territory. You need a TV or a projector, Quizado in a browser or one of the apps, and 4 to 16 teams. Nobody needs a phone.

Is there a The Floor board game?

Territory is not a board game. The board is on your TV, the app keeps both clocks and flips the squares, and the pictures come ready.

Can I play it online?

Territory runs in the browser, but it is made for one room: the board on one screen, the teams in front of it. It is not an online game for players in different places.

Is it free?

Yes. Territory and its 20 picture categories are on every plan, the free Home plan included. The free plan allows 2 game starts a day.

How long is a game?

Every duel knocks one team out. 16 teams play 15 duels, about 30 to 45 minutes.

Free to start

Your room. Your board. Your champions.

Open Quizado, add your teams and put the board on the TV. The first duel starts in under a minute.
