The Song Is the Question
Name That Tune is a question type inside the Bar Trivia question editor, not a separate game. Pick "Name that tune" in the editor, find the song, and Quizado writes the rest: the question, the four titles, and which one is correct.
That means a music round drops straight into a normal trivia night. Mix it with your usual rounds, save it to a pack and reuse it, or hand it to the next host on the rota - it behaves like every other question in your library.
The question is filed under Music automatically, and the library row reads "Take On Me - a-ha" instead of a wall of identical entries, so you can still find one song six months later.

What the Room Sees
A music video gives the answer away through the picture and the lyric captions. So the big screen never shows one.
A Full-Width Equaliser
The big screen shows an animated equaliser, the question and the four titles. No video, no captions, nothing that leaks the answer.
Cover Art on the Reveal
When the answer lands, the equaliser collapses and the cover art, title, artist and album take the screen. That is the payoff moment.
A Music Dock, Just for the Host
Your own screen gets the title flagged host-only, play and pause, restart, replay as often as the room needs, elapsed against the clip length, volume, and R and M keyboard shortcuts.
Phones Stay Silent
Players see a mini equaliser and a line saying the music is on the big screen, not their phone. Forty phones playing the same clip a half-second apart is not a music round.
The Clip Is a Round Setting
Choose 8, 15, 20 or 30 seconds once and every song in the round uses it. The default is 15. The answer clock keeps running after the clip stops.
Running It on Zoom or Meet
Hosting remotely with no big screen in the room? Switch audio back to player phones in the round settings and everyone hears the clip on their own device.
Then the Answer Lands
When the clip is up, the equaliser collapses and the track takes the screen: the title, the artist and the album, with the correct option ticked and the wrong ones dimmed rather than whisked away. Teams can see how close they were, and you do not have to read anything out.
From a Playlist Link to a Finished Round
You already have the playlist. Paste the link and Quizado turns it into a music pack you can build rounds from.
Paste a Public Playlist
Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal or YouTube. The pack takes its name and cover art from the playlist and imports the track list.
Playable or Needs a Fix
The pack screen labels every song. Fix a broken track on its own row, add more by search or track link, or re-sync the playlist when it changes.
Build a Round, See It First
Pick a question count, difficulty and clip length, skip unplayable tracks, avoid anything played in the last 90 days and cap it at one song per artist.
Nothing Saves Until You Say So
The proposed round shows every row with the three wrong titles it will offer, and every skipped song says why it was skipped. Then you decide.
Music Licensing Is Yours, Not Ours
You are responsible for holding whatever music licence your venue, event or online quiz requires. Quizado does not provide, include or arrange that licence, and nothing in your subscription covers it.
Quizado matches the tracks you choose to YouTube streams and plays them through your host device. That match is a way to play the audio - it is not a licence, and it does not clear anything on your behalf. Third-party content is also subject to that platform's own terms.
What is required varies by country, by venue and by whether your audience is public or private, so we cannot tell you which licence you need. Work it out for your own situation before you run a music round.
