- 02Drawing questions
Drawings now come in colour.
The canvas fills the player's phone, in the same 4:5 shape on every device. Players pick from nine inks and two stroke widths and mix them in one drawing, with Undo and Clear one tap away. The host panel and the big screen show every drawing in colour.

Jeopardy: Daily Double and Final Jeopardy
Up to two hidden Daily Double tiles per board, one by default: the team that finds one bets and plays the clue alone. After the board, every team bets on one last clue on paper, and you reveal the papers one by one, lowest score first. Final Jeopardy plays when the set has a final clue; add one to your own sets in the set editor.

Jeopardy: answers on the big screen, TV mode and a price for wrong answers
The big screen now shows each clue's possible answers, so the room can play along; it never shows which one is right until you reveal it. Choose TV mode in setup to show the clue only, with teams answering out loud like on the TV show. A new setup option makes a wrong answer cost the clue value; it is off by default.

Write a Family Feud or Jeopardy set with AI
Describe the night and pick how many survey questions or board categories you want, and the AI writes a set you own. It is picked for tonight's game and saved in My Sets, where you can edit every question. Start it from New Game, or from Write with AI on the Family Feud and Jeopardy set pages. It uses AI credits.

Cast the game board to a Chromecast or Google TV
In the Quizado Mobile Apps, tap the cast button next to Game screen to put Trivia, Family Feud or Jeopardy on any Chromecast or Google TV.

Run the game on your computer from your phone
Start Trivia, Family Feud or Jeopardy on the computer and run it from your phone, while the computer keeps the game screen. Click Connect Remote, scan the code with the Quizado Mobile Apps and pick Controller; a phone browser works too. Family Feud and Jeopardy games also move between devices with Take over.

A help center with step-by-step guides
quizado.com/help has step-by-step guides for hosts, from building a pack to running a league, in 8 languages. Help in the sidebar opens it, and the pack builder, the Trivia lobby and the Game screen button link to the matching guide. The Help Center item in the desktop app menu opens it too.

Combine packs into one new pack
Pick packs on the Trivia packs page and combine them into one new pack. Keep every round or make each pack one round, and skip questions that appear in more than one pack. The original packs stay as they are.

Print your questions or save them as a PDF
A paper backup for a Trivia, Family Feud or Jeopardy night: Print sits on the New Game review, in the host bar during a night, in the set editors and the pack builder. Choose answers shown or questions only, A4 or US Letter, and team answer sheets for Trivia; no question splits across pages. In the desktop app, Save as PDF works offline, so one person can read from paper while another runs the screen.

Add slides to tonight's running order from the Trivia lobby
Every gap in the running order takes a slide: pick one of eight ready-made cards, such as Welcome!, Drinks break or Half-time standings, or build your own, then move, edit or remove it. Slides play on the host panel, the big screen, the phones and under Auto-Host. The pack stays as it was, and your own pack can save them. It works in the browser, the desktop app and the Quizado Mobile Apps. Slides are part of the Business plan.

Name That Tune waits for the music
The answer clock starts when the clip really plays, so a slow or blocked clip no longer runs the time out. If you open answering without the clip, phones say so.

The whole app fits on laptops and scaled screens
In the desktop app, a small or scaled screen (for example a 1366 x 768 laptop at 125%) zooms out so the full sidebar and the pack builder fit. Your own zoom wins and is remembered, and View > Fit to Screen goes back to automatic. In a narrow window, every sidebar icon has a short label under it.

Player phones stay awake for the whole game
A player phone in the browser no longer goes to sleep after a reload, a trip to another app or a rejoin. The buzzer, audience and TV-browser screens now stay awake too, from the join to the end.

While you decide on a buzzer answer, the other phones now say the team answered and is waiting for the host, instead of Time's up.

When your venue has a player join link word (like quiza.do/the-owl), the Trivia lobby QR and link on the big screen now use it, the same link the host panel shows, instead of the 6-digit code.

For Name That Tune and Music Bingo, New Game > Music Packs lists your own music packs before the catalog. They used to fall behind the catalog and off the list.

Host a whole game in three minutes, with nobody in the room.
The demo game puts you on the real host panel against three bot teams that join, answer and buzz on their own, with the big screen and a player phone live beside it. A guide points at every press through question 1, gives one hint on question 2 and lets you run question 3. Then 12 short chapters each play one key moment: a Family Feud board, a Jeopardy tile, a wager round, a drawing to mark, a 142-vote audience question, Auto-Host, Name That Tune, and a look around screens, packs and the venue.
Nothing is saved and no real players join. Paid features play in full inside the demo.

Your quiz night now looks like a TV game show.
Questions glide onto the big screen, the last five seconds pulse red, scores count up as teams climb, and a new finale brings the podium in under spotlights and confetti. Family Feud answers flip into the pot, a strike slams a big X, a Jeopardy clue zooms out of its tile and a confirmed BINGO lands with confetti. On the players' phones every right answer bursts into confetti and a buzz.
Each phone can turn the vibration off with the Haptics switch.

Every sound in the room is yours to pick.
Pick a sound for every moment of the night in your venue's Sounds settings, now with new effect sounds and applause. When you muted the room or a Game Screen cannot play sound, the speaker in the host bar turns red, and its Sound sheet names the fix and plays a test sound. New Trivia rounds play sounds on the players' phones, and each player can mute their own phone.
Uploading your own sound needs the Business plan.

Players scan the QR and land in the game.
The phone's camera opens the Quizado Mobile Apps straight into the game, with the team and the score in a bar that never moves. No account needed. Every Trivia round plays in the app, including drawn answers, picture answers and the Music Bingo card.

Share a pack you made with a link
Open one of your own packs and press Share: you get a page on quizado.com that previews two questions from every round, in the browser, on desktop and in the Quizado Mobile Apps. Anyone who opens it can add a free copy of the pack to their account, and you can turn the link off at any time.

Keep a Family Feud or Jeopardy night going when the connection drops
After 20 seconds without the server the host is offered "Continue offline": the night moves onto this device, and everything played in between is handed back to the server the moment the link returns. A server that has moved on refuses the hand-back and says so, and the night stays where it is playable. A licence with no plan is now told that offline play needs a plan, instead of that the device was offline too long.

A new winners screen ends every night
Trivia, Family Feud and Jeopardy all finish on the same board: the winner, or every team level on the top score, in a gold band with the winning margin, then the rest of the room as a bar chart of their scores, under stage lights, confetti and the mascots. It fits any size of night, listing as many teams as the room can read and counting the rest.

The Quizado Mobile Apps add three widgets: the next night with its venue and pack, who is leading your league, and the pack tonight will play. Shortcuts start tonight's game, lock the buzzers or open one of your packs by name.

Share the night to Instagram Stories in one tap
A finished 9:16 card with your venue's branding, the top three teams and when the next night is. No Instagram, no problem: the card is saved to your camera roll and the share sheet is one tap away.

Two new big-screen themes: Chalkboard and Paper
Chalkboard puts chalk lettering on slate green, and Paper uses warm paper with ink bars for bright, daylight rooms. They replace Classic and Bright, and a venue that used one of those moves over on its own. Every big screen follows the venue theme now, including the Quizado Mobile Apps and the TV apps, an offline Family Feud or Jeopardy night and the league table.

Players' phones join the winner reveal
While the big screen drums up the podium, every phone builds up to the winner too, then shows its own result on the beat the winner is crowned: confetti for the winners, your place and the winner's name for everyone else. One tap skips it, and it plays once per night on each phone.

Feud answers flip into the pot and a strike slams a big X, a Jeopardy clue zooms out of its tile, and a BINGO call slams onto the big screen, with confetti for a confirmed win.

The countdown ticks only in the last five seconds
Trivia, Family Feud and Jeopardy clocks tick over the final five seconds instead of the whole answering window, and stay silent while the room is frozen, behind the join QR and at zero. The server decides the cue, so the big screen and the host's phone agree, and Redo no longer greys out five seconds before a Trivia question ends.

A night whose host stepped away waits, and says so
When the host's device drops, a Trivia night's clock pauses from the host's last sign of life instead of running the question down: the big screen and every phone say "The host stepped away", and a question that ran out in the gap opens again when the host returns. An Auto-Host night keeps playing with nobody at the controls. A running room nobody takes back within ten minutes closes itself, with the standings kept in History, and a lobby that has not started waits an hour.

Correct a score on the final screen, and History follows
The Trivia final standings gain +/- steppers, and a correction made there updates History and the league season instead of leaving them on the figures from the moment the night ended. The recap email, already sent, stays as it is, and the panel says so.

A new look on the players' phones
Every screen on a player's phone follows one design: the round and question number above each question, the rules as short chips and a clear result after each answer. The end of the night is one page with the standings, a brag card to share and your answers question by question.

The host panel tells you more, on every device
Every device now shows each slider guess and who is closest, what every table plays for on a wager and when a question ends level at the top, and the Jeopardy panel asks before it burns a clue. On the web you can clear a mis-buzz without charging the table and see why the next round will not start; from a phone you can close a Family Feud round nobody won and run the upfront audience survey.

Music Bingo that the whole room can follow
The big screen puts the pattern panel and the scoreboard side by side in letters the back of the room can read, keeps the join QR up through the round, says when every song has been called, and clears the award toast on time. On the phone the call button names the pattern you are playing for and refuses one that has already been awarded.

Settle a tied finish your way
At a tie for the win, play it off with the pack's next question, a random question from the Quizado library or one you pick from the library or your own questions, or let the teams share the win and take it back if you change your mind. Only the tied teams play a plain sudden-death question, with no bets and no penalty for a wrong answer, and the big screen and the phones say who plays it, who took it and who shares a win.

The Trivia, Family Feud, Jeopardy and Music Bingo host screens, the New Game wizard and the dashboard now fit a small screen. Nothing overlaps, runs off the edge or squeezes to one word per line.

Question pictures are ready before the question
Question and answer pictures now load when the game starts, on every phone, host screen and big screen, so a picture round no longer opens on empty tiles.

BUZZ IN stays put under the thumb
In a Buzzer Race the BUZZ IN button sits in a fixed dock at the bottom of the players' phones, and when the buzzer opens again every phone names the team that just missed. Phones also say how many seconds a team gets after buzzing, point song questions at the big screen, and say when a Majority Rules miss cost nothing.

Music Bingo keeps going while you check a BINGO
Teams keep marking songs while the host checks a BINGO, and a second call waits its turn. The big screen makes BINGO! a full-screen moment and shows the points only once the host awards them.

Clearer, steadier player phones
One clear rule for changing an answer, a Time's up pill, Undo on drawings, the slide at phone size, the venue logo in the lobby, a note when the host changes your score by hand, and a line naming who survived a knockout or guessed closer on a slider. The countdown no longer jumps back, a typed answer is sent when the player leaves the box, banners float instead of pushing the answers, and a late tap on a stake can no longer answer the question.

The big screen fits every screen in the room
The board fills 4:3 projectors and portrait screens, keeps every team on the round break, shows every team tied for second on the podium and uses the same A/B/C/D colours as the phones. The venue logo stays up during questions, over a clearer venue background.

Settings and the editor no longer blank the venue TV
Opening Settings or the question editor mid-night used to blank the big screen on the desktop app. The board now stays on the wall on every platform, and it only changes when the game does.

Rules and recaps that say what really happened
A host's manual "No answer" counts as unanswered, not wrong, so accuracy reads right; a tied night names every winner. The betting screen states the default stake and whether a wrong answer costs it, untimed buzzer rounds no longer promise a ten-second clock, and an eliminated team sees the round-break standings like everybody else. On a "closest guess" slider, every team that landed exactly on the target now reads as correct; only the earliest of them takes the bonus.

The Family Feud question stays hidden until you reveal it
The board used to show the question on the big screen before you had a chance to read it aloud, so a buzzer race gave nothing away. It stays face-down again until you turn it over.

Awarding a round used to skip straight to the next question when several answers were already found, instead of turning over what was left. The board now reveals what's left, one at a time, before it moves on.

Opening a panel while another game runs asks first
The Family Feud and Jeopardy control panels now offer to end the running game or go back to it, the same choice the New Game wizard gives. They used to open an empty setup screen, and picking a question set there hit a raw error.

At the end of the night, a team's phone could show its answers without saying which were right or what they scored. Every team now sees its own verdicts and points, not only the winners.
