Winery Trivia Nights That Keep Guests At the Table
A calm, unhurried quiz for tasting rooms. Wine rounds, picture rounds and phone answers, with no buzzer boxes and no shouting across the barrel room.

A light theme for a bright room. One phone for each table.
A tasting room is not a bar, and the quiz should know it.
Guests come to a winery to slow down. They sit at a table for two hours, they taste through a flight, and they talk. A bar quiz that fires questions at them for ninety loud minutes is the wrong shape for that room.
What works is a lighter game that runs alongside the tasting: a round between pours, a picture round while the cheese board comes out, a wine round that flatters people for paying attention.
You control the clock. Start a round, let it run, then hold the game while your team pours the next flight. Guests answer on their own phones after scanning a QR code, so there is nothing to hand out and nothing to collect.

Six things it does for your takings.

Fills a quiet night
A reason to book the tasting room on a quiet evening.

Brings them back
A standings table across the year for the wine club.

Keeps them for another round
One short round for each pour.

Lets you write to your regulars
Players opt in. You send the next quiz night.

Gets you talked about
A post with your name on it, every night.

Keeps the margin
Your tasting room lead hosts. One flat monthly price.
How a night runs in a tasting room.
The game waits for the pour, not the other way round.
The code on the tasting card
Set a fixed join word for your venue and print it on the table card that already carries your tasting notes. It looks intentional, and guests who arrive late can join without interrupting a pour.
Before the tastingTable teams
A guest scans the code on the table, types a team name and plays. There is no app to install and no account to create. One person per table sorts it out and the rest follow.
First pourA round for each pour
Run one short round, then hold the game while the next flight goes out. The host decides when each question and each round starts, and the scores are kept while you wait.
Each flightThe table between rounds
The leaderboard is more fun when the whole room can see it. On the terrace in daylight, every question is still readable on the guest phone.
Last glassWhat does a night have to earn?
We will not promise you a sales figure. Nobody honestly can. Here is the number you have to beat, with your own prices.
Your venue
Business, the plan for venues, at €199 a month.
That is €49.75 a night. Every guest after that is margin.
Straight answers.
Will a game night bring more people in?
We cannot promise a number, and you should doubt anyone who does. What we can say: a weekly game gives people a reason to choose your venue on a quiet night, the league gives teams a reason to return, and the recap gives them something to post. The free plan lets you test it on a real night before you pay.
What does it cost against what it takes?
One flat price a month, however many nights you run. Use the calculator above with your own prices. At four nights a month, a few extra guests a night cover it.
Can I contact the players afterwards?
Yes, the ones who agree. A player can opt in on their phone to hear from your venue. On Business you write to those players from Quizado, by email and as a notification in the Quizado app, and you can download the list. League players also get the standings by email in your venue's name.
Is trivia too rowdy for a tasting room?
Not with the right rounds. Everyone Scores needs no buzzing and no shouting, because guests answer on their phones within the time limit. The room stays at conversation volume throughout.
Will older guests manage the phone part?
Scanning a QR code opens a web page, and that is the whole process. There is no app to install and no account to create. Play as table teams rather than individuals, so one person per table sorts it out and the rest follow.
Can I run it outside during the day?
Yes. Every question appears on the guest phone as well as on the screen, so bright daylight does not break the game. Bring the leaderboard indoors between rounds if your terrace has no usable display, and check the phone signal there first.
Can I pause between rounds to pour?
Yes. The host controls when each question and round starts, so you can hold the game while a flight goes out and pick it up when the room is ready. Scores are kept while you wait.
Can I use photos of my own labels and vineyard?
Yes, on Pro or Business. Writing questions is free on every plan. Hosting a pack you wrote needs Pro or Business, and so do your own pictures and audio. With them, a picture round built entirely from your own property is a normal thing to make.
Do I need a member of staff dedicated to the quiz?
No. One person taps through the questions between other duties, and scoring is automatic. A tablet by the pouring station is usually the neatest place to host from.
Do my guests need an app?
No. They scan the QR code on the screen or type the join code into a browser. No download, no account.
How many teams can play?
The free Home plan takes up to 4 player phones. Paid plans have no limit on players.
Does bar trivia work without internet?
Trivia needs a connection, because players answer on their phones. Family Face-Off, QuizoParty and Territory run with no internet from the desktop and mobile apps, on a paid plan.
Try one round between two pours.
Open a ready-made night and put the code on the tasting card. The free plan needs no card. Choose a plan after you have counted the tables.
