Trivia for education

Turn your next lesson into a quiz your class can play together

Quizado gives teachers a shared game screen, quiz questions and host controls. Choose phone-based trivia or a host-led game-show format to suit your classroom.

Free starter Bar Trivia supports up to 16 players. Custom questions and other game formats require paid access.

From preparation to the first round

Step 1

Choose the learning goal

Build a short set around the material you have taught. Review every question and answer before class, especially if you use an AI draft. Custom question authoring requires Trivia Pro or Hospitality Group.

Step 2

Choose how the class participates

For Bar Trivia, participants join in a browser by QR code and need internet access. For a game without student phones, use Family Feud or Jeopardy with spoken answers and host-controlled scoring on Hospitality Group.

Step 3

Rehearse on the classroom screen

Connect your host device to a TV or projector. Check text and images from the back row, play a sample question, and test the network with a second device.

Step 4

Leave room for discussion

Run a short round, reveal the answers and discuss the reasoning before moving on. Use the game as a shared activity alongside your own teaching and assessment.

A sample 20-minute lesson review

Spend 3 minutes explaining the format, 10 minutes playing a short quiz, and 7 minutes discussing answers. For a category board, group questions by lesson topic and award points from the host screen.

Check offline setup and limitations

Before you host

Bar Trivia uses connected player devices. Family Feud and Jeopardy can be led with spoken answers and host scoring, so students do not each need a phone for those formats.
Yes. Custom question sets are included with Trivia Pro and Hospitality Group. Start with your lesson material, verify answers, and check the relevant game format is included in your plan.
Quizado is a game-hosting app. This page does not promise a gradebook, classroom monitoring or a learning-management-system integration.
