The player join link works on every plan. Each venue has its own link, and each word can belong to one venue only.
Open your venue settings
In the sidebar, click Settings. Under Venues, click your venue. The Details section opens.
Type your link word
Under Player join link, type a word, for example your venue name. Use 3 to 32 lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. It cannot be all numbers.
Check the link and save
Below the field, Players will join at: shows the full link. Press Enter or click outside the field to save it. If the word belongs to another venue, the app tells you to pick another.
Start a game at the venue
Start any game at this venue. On Review & launch, Teams join at shows your link. In the lobby, the Player Code card shows your word, with the 6-digit code under it.
Print it once and reuse it
Print the link on table cards or posters. Every night, the link opens the game that runs at your venue at that time.
Tips
- Your venue screen opens at the same word too: /display/ followed by your link word.
- To go back to the 6-digit codes, click Clear next to the field.
- Players can also type the word in the code field at app.quizado.com/join.
Questions
What happens when no game runs at my venue?
The link still opens. Players wait on the page and join as soon as you start the game.
Can two venues use the same word?
No. Each word belongs to one venue. If the word is taken, the app shows an error and does not save it.
Does the 6-digit code still work?
Yes. Each game still gets its code, and the lobby shows it under your word. The word stays the same, so use it in everything you print.
