This works the same on every plan, including the free Home plan. Start a Trivia night first and let at least one team join, then click Start Game.
Start the round
The round briefing shows the round name and its rules. Click Start: with the round name, or press the space bar. The first question goes up on the big screen and on every phone.
Watch the answers come in
Under Scores, each team shows the letter it picked as soon as it answers. The clock in the header shows how long the question has been open.
Lock, then reveal
Click Lock Answers to close answering, then Reveal Answer. The right answer lights up and the scores move. When the time limit runs out, answering locks by itself.
Take back a step
Pressed too soon? Press U or Ctrl+Z to undo the last step, and Y to redo it. The keys are listed under the question.
Move on
Click Next Question. To skip a question the room cannot play, click Skip to Next. A skipped question scores nothing.
Show the standings between rounds
After the last question of a round, the round break shows the standings. Click Start Next Round: with the next round name when the room is ready.
End the game
Click End Game at the top of the panel and confirm. The final standings go up on the big screen and the phones.
Tips
- Press S to show or hide the scoreboard on the big screen, and J to show the join QR code full screen.
- Click a team's score to type a new one, or use - and + beside it.
- Pick Auto-Host in the lobby and Quizado runs the questions for you.
Questions
What does the space bar do?
It presses the main button, whatever its label says: start the round, lock answers, reveal the answer or go to the next question.
Can I undo a reveal?
Yes. Press U or Ctrl+Z right after the reveal. The question goes back to locked, and the points it gave are taken back.
What happens when I end the game early?
Every team stops playing and the final standings go up. You cannot undo it, so the panel asks you to confirm first.
