Buzzers work in Family Feud and Jeopardy on every plan. In Trivia, players answer on their own phones instead. Start the game first, so you are on the host panel.
Start the game
Start a Family Feud or Jeopardy game and set your teams. In Family Feud, Choose who starts waits for a team to buzz, or you select a team yourself.
Show the join code
Click Connect Remote in the top bar. The window shows a QR code and a link under Open this URL in your browser:. Let players scan the QR code, or read the link out loud.
Players choose Buzzer
On the phone, the player opens the link. Under Choose Mode, they tap Buzzer. The phone shows a button for each team.
Tap your team to buzz in
When the question is up, a player taps their team. The first buzz takes the question and the other phones show who has it. The team then answers out loud.
Take back a buzz
A buzz by mistake? Click Undo in the top bar. The question goes back to the moment before the buzz. Redo puts the buzz back.
Tips
- Put one buzzer phone on each team's table, or let each player use their own phone.
- In Jeopardy, a team that answered a clue wrong is locked out of that clue. Its buzz does not count.
- When the game ends, the buzzer phones show the final standings with a button to share the results.
Questions
Do players answer on the phone?
No. The phone only buzzes. The team answers out loud, and you mark the answer on the host panel.
What if two teams buzz at the same moment?
Only the first buzz counts. The other phone shows which team buzzed in first.
Can I play without buzzers?
Yes. Select the team that answered first on the host panel yourself.
