Host Family Feud

Family Feud is host-run. Teams call out answers, and you reveal them on the board, add strikes and award the round.

Before you start

Family Feud plays online on every plan, the free Home plan too. The free packs play in full. Premium packs need Starter, and hosting your own survey set needs Pro. Up to 4 teams play.

  1. Choose Family Feud

Select New Game in the sidebar, then select the Family Feud card.

  2. Pick a survey pack

Under Add your questions, stay on Question Packs and select a pack. Feud Starter and Everyday Life are free on every plan.

  3. Open the control panel

Under Review & launch, select Start game. The game is played in the room, so players need no phones.

  4. Set your teams

On Set your game, check the teams or select Add Team. Keep TV scoring or pick Per team, per answer under Scoring, then select Start Game.

  5. Choose who starts

Read the question out loud. Under Who starts?, select the team that won the face-off.

  6. Reveal answers and add strikes

When a team names an answer on the board, select it to reveal it. For a wrong guess, select + Strike.

  7. Award the round

Select Award the Round and pick the team that won. The rest of the board reveals and the next question comes up. After the last one, select Final Standings.

Tips

  • Select Game Screen in the top bar to open the board for the room on a second screen or projector.
  • Phones can join as buzzers for the face-off. Select Connect Remote in the top bar to add them.
  • Write your own survey questions under Custom Questions > Family Feud. Hosting your own set needs Pro.
  • Pressed the wrong answer? Select Undo in the top bar.

Questions

Do players need the app or their phones?

No. Teams answer out loud and you mark the board. Phones are optional, and only as buzzers.

What is the difference between the two scoring modes?

With TV scoring, one team controls the board and you award the round to the winner. With Per team, per answer, teams take turns and each team keeps the points for the answers it names.

How many teams can play?

Up to 4 teams.
