This works on every plan and in every game. You need a TV with a browser, or a computer connected to the TV. The screen needs no login.
Find your venue screen link
Start a game and click Game Screen in the top bar. The window that opens is your venue screen. Its address ends in /display/ and your venue number: that is your screen link.
Open the link on the TV
Type the screen link once in the browser of the TV, or of the computer connected to it. The TV shows your venue's game with the join QR code.
Go full screen
On the TV, click the Fullscreen button, the expand icon in the top-right corner. Some browsers block sound until you click the page once.
Start the next game
End the game and start the next one at the same venue, for example Family Feud after Trivia. The TV switches to the new game by itself.
Leave it on, night after night
Next time, open the same link or leave the TV on it. It shows whatever game your venue plays, even when you host from another device.
Tips
- Bookmark the screen link in the TV's browser, so you open it with one click.
- If your venue has a Player join link, the screen also opens at /display/ followed by that word.
- Each venue has its own screen link. Check that you start the game at the right venue.
Questions
The TV says to open the screen from the host app. Why?
The address has no venue in it. Use the full screen link that ends in your venue number, or click Game Screen on your host panel to get it.
Does the TV need to log in?
No. The screen link shows your venue's game without a login. Only the host panel controls the game.
What does the TV show between games?
It waits for the next game at your venue. After a game ends it shows a thank-you screen, and it switches to the next game as soon as you start it.
