You can see the minutes on every plan. Quizado counts each question's time limit plus about 25 seconds for you to read, reveal and score, so 20 questions on a 30-second clock run about 18 minutes. Building a longer pack is free on every plan; hosting your own pack needs Pro.
Check the minutes before you start
Click New Game, then Trivia, and pick a pack. Under Review & launch, the minutes sit next to the questions and the rounds.
Start a pack of your own
In the sidebar, click Custom Questions, then Trivia, then Create a pack. Name it. The line under the name counts rounds, questions and minutes.
Add rounds from other packs
Click the arrow next to Add round and choose Rounds from another pack. Pick a pack, tick its rounds and click Add 2 rounds. The minutes go up with each round.
Shorten the time limit
Click Edit round settings and pick a shorter Time Limit per Question. Click Save. The round's minutes and the pack total go down.
Tips
- Most Quizado Trivia packs have 2 rounds of 10 questions, about 18 minutes. Three packs fill about an hour.
- To cut a night short, open the three dots next to a round name and choose Delete round. Its questions stay in My questions.
- Leave time for a break between rounds. The minutes count questions only, not breaks or the prize giving.
Questions
How many questions fit in 60 minutes?
About 65 questions on a 30-second clock, or about 80 on a 20-second clock. Leave a few minutes out for breaks between rounds.
How does Quizado estimate the minutes?
Each Trivia question counts its time limit plus about 25 seconds for you. Slides do not count. Family Feud and Jeopardy count 20 seconds for each answer on the board.
Can I play two packs in one night?
Yes. Start one pack, then start the next when the first game ends. On the Home plan each start counts toward the 2 game starts in any 24 hours. Or combine the rounds into one pack of your own.
