Edit a round: order, time limit and round type

Every round in a pack has its own running order and its own settings. You change both in the pack builder.

Every plan

Before you start

Editing rounds is free on every plan, including Home. A Music Bingo round saves on every plan, but hosting it needs Business.

  1. Open the pack

In the sidebar, click Custom Questions. On the pack card, click Edit.

  2. Pick the round

Click the round in the Rounds list. To rename it, type over the round name at the top of the round.

  3. Change the running order

Under In this round, drag a question or use its Move up and Move down arrows. This is the order the questions play in the game.

  4. Open the round settings

Click Edit round settings. The Round Settings window opens.

  5. Choose how teams answer

Under Round Type, pick a card, for example Buzzer Race, Fastest Finger or Everyone Scores. Each card says how teams answer and score.

  6. Set the time limit and points

Choose the Time Limit per Question and the Points per Question, or pick No Limit. Click Save.

Tips

  • Speed scoring gives extra points for fast correct answers on multiple-choice questions. Turn it on in Round Settings.
  • Use Move round up and Move round down on a round card to change the order of the rounds.
  • Click the three dots next to the round name for Duplicate round, Merge into another round..., Select questions and Delete round. Deleting a round keeps its questions in My questions.
  • The round types are Buzzer Race, Fastest Finger, Everyone Scores, Majority Rules, Knockout, Wager and Music Bingo.

Questions

Can each round have a different time limit?

Yes. The time limit, points and round type belong to the round, so every round in a pack can be different.

What happens to the wrong-answer penalty when I change the round type?

Some round types do not charge a penalty. When you switch to one, Quizado resets the penalty and tells you so in the window.

Does editing a round change a game that already ran?

No. Your change applies the next time you start a game with this pack.
