Adding and editing your own items is free on every plan. To host a night built from them you need Pro or Business, a trial or a Full Event Pass. Bulk import needs Business. The AI needs Pro or Business, a trial or a Full Event Pass, and AI questions. A night from the price bank alone plays on every plan.
Open Price Check
Open Custom Questions in the sidebar and choose Price Check.
Add an item
Click Add item. Fill in Item, Where, Price, Currency, Year and Month. Write the price as a number only, such as 6.50, and the currency as a three-letter code, such as GBP.
Save it
If you want, add a Source link (optional) and a Picture (optional). Click Save. The item appears in your list.
Find and change items
Type in Search items to find an item. When your items use more than one currency, the list next to it shows one currency at a time. Click an item to change it, or click Delete in it to remove it.
Add items with AI
Click Add items with AI. Type a Topic, pick the Currency of the prices and 10, 20 or 40 Items, then click Find the items. The AI checks every price against a real source and draws a picture.
Build a night
Select New Game, then Price Check. On Build from my items, click Build a night. Your items come first, and the price bank fills the rest in the same currency.
Tips
- A night uses 26 items. When you have fewer, the price bank adds the rest. The card says how many before you build.
- A night holds one currency. Quizado takes the currency that most of your items use.
- An item name has up to 100 characters and no brackets. The place has up to 60 characters.
- Have a long list? Click Bulk import and upload a sheet with the columns Item, Place, Price, Currency, Year, Month, Source URL and Picture. Bulk import needs Business.
- Generate with AI on New Game > Price Check opens the same AI form.
Questions
Does Quizado check my prices?
Not the prices you type or import. They are yours, and Quizado checks the format only. Items the AI adds are different: each price is checked against a real source.
What does the AI cost?
1 AI question for each item it adds. An item whose price cannot be verified is not added and costs nothing.
Which plan do I need?
None to add and edit items. To host a night built from your items you need Pro or Business, a trial or a Full Event Pass. The card on New Game shows the plan it needs.
Do other hosts see my items?
No. Your items stay in your account. They never join the Quizado price bank.
Can I do this in the Mobile Apps?
Yes. The Mobile Apps have the Price Check items, Bulk import and the AI too.
