The AI generator needs a paid plan. Starter gets 250 AI questions a month, Pro 500 and Business 2,000. The 7-day Business trial includes 50 AI questions in total. The free Home plan has none, and AI questions bought without a plan cannot be spent.
Open AI questions
In the sidebar, click Settings, then click AI questions.
Read your balance
AI questions available shows what you can spend now and about how many rounds and full nights that makes. The line under the bar says how many of your monthly AI questions are left.
Top up
Click Top up AI questions. Under Buy AI questions, click Buy 500 AI questions or Buy 2,000 AI questions. Checkout opens in your browser. Bought AI questions stack on top of your allowance and never expire.

Tips
- Monthly AI questions reset on the 1st of each month and do not roll over. Bought AI questions never expire.
- Planning a quiz with the AI is free. Only writing questions uses AI questions, and regenerating one question uses 1.
- Recent spend lists every AI question you used, so you can see where they went.

Are AI questions the same as the old AI credits?
Yes. AI credits are now called AI questions. One credit was always one question, so your balance carried over as it was.
How many AI questions does a round use?
Each question the AI delivers uses one AI question. A round of 10 questions uses 10.
What happens if the AI fails to write a question?
You get the AI questions back for the questions it could not write.
Can I buy AI questions during the trial?
Yes. The trial includes 50 AI questions in total, and you can buy a pack if you need more.
Can I buy AI questions on the free plan?
No. The AI generator needs a paid plan, so the free plan shows the plans instead of packs.
Do unused monthly AI questions carry over?
No. Monthly AI questions reset on the 1st of each month. AI questions you buy never expire and stay until you use them.
