How do I pick a pack by length and skip the ones we played?

Question Packs starts with one question: how long is your night? Every card leads with its minutes and says what your venue has not played yet, so a weekly crowd never gets the same quiz twice.

Every plan
Before you start

Every plan can use the length chips, the filters and the freshness line, including the free Home plan. On Home the lengths go up to 30 minutes, so 1 hour, 90 min and 2 hours show a lock. Premium packs need Starter or a higher plan. A pack counts as played when your venue started it and played at least half of its questions in the last 12 months.

  1. Open Question Packs

In the sidebar, click Question Packs. The first control is How long?. The same chips sit at the top of New Game when you pick a pack there.

  2. Pick a length

Under How long?, click 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 90 min or 2 hours. Every card shows its minutes first, such as ~18 min, then its rounds and its difficulty.

  3. Say who is playing

Under Who's playing?, click Friends and family, Pub crowd, Kids or Work team. This step is optional. The shelves then put the packs for that crowd first.

  4. Start with For your next night

The For your next night shelf holds packs picked for your venue, none of them played there. The line under each card says why, for example Because you played and a pack name, or Popular with pubs and bars.

  5. Read the freshness line

The last line of a card says New to you, how many questions are new, such as 32 of 40 questions new to you, or Played with the date. A played pack goes grey and moves after the packs you have not played.

  6. Hide the packs you played

Click Filters and turn on Not played yet. The sheet can also narrow Difficulty, Category, Formats and Language. Click the button at the bottom, such as Show 12 packs.

Tips

  • A pack shorter than the length you picked shows Make it 60 min under its card. It adds rounds from packs you have not played.
  • Change Sort: to Newest, Most played, Shortest or Longest. Recommended is the default.
  • Each chip and filter is part of the page address, so the browser's Back button and a shared link open the same view.

Questions

How does Quizado count the minutes?

Each question counts its time limit plus about 25 seconds for you to read, reveal and score. A pack's minutes are playing time. A Game Night or a Fresh Night of 30 minutes or more also counts its breaks and says breaks included.

When does a pack count as played?

When your venue started it and played at least half of its questions. Quizado remembers it for 12 months, then the pack counts as new again.

I host at two venues. Whose games count?

The freshness line and Not played yet use the venue you have selected. Each venue keeps its own history.

How does Quizado choose For your next night?

It looks at the packs your venue played, the crowd you host, new packs and this week's Quiz Night. It leaves out packs your venue mostly played. Your answers to How was this pack? at the end of a game help too.
