These settings work the same on every plan, including the free Home plan. You sign in with your email address, so it is not something you edit here.
Change your name
Click Settings, then Your details. Type the name players see when you host under Your name. You can add Your phone number (optional). Click Save.
Choose your emails
Click Notifications. Turn Game recap emails, New pack digest, Tips and account updates, Getting started emails and Notes from Bartosz on or off. Sign-in codes, receipts and trial notices always arrive.
Turn screen recording on or off
Click Privacy. The Record how I use the host screens switch lets Quizado see how you use your host screens. Players' phones and the big screen are never recorded. Turn it off if you prefer.
Verify your email
Go back to Your details and scroll to Your account and data. Click Send verification code. Type the 6-digit code from the email in Code from your email.
Request an export or deletion
Click Request data export or Request account deletion. The request appears in the list with its status. When an export is ready, click Download data export. A deletion asks you to confirm first: click Request account deletion again, or Keep my account to stop.
Tips
- An export stays available to download for seven days.
- The privacy switch is saved on each device, so set it on every computer or phone you host from.
Questions
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
No. A request does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first under Settings > Plan & billing.
Why does a deletion take time?
Support reviews shared game history and billing records before completing the deletion. The status in the list shows where your request is.
Can I stop all emails?
You can turn off every switch under Notifications. Sign-in codes, payment receipts and trial reminders still arrive, because you need them to use your account.
What does the privacy recording see?
Taps, scrolls and which host screens you open. Join codes, QR codes, team and player names, emails and question text are blanked out on your device before anything is sent.
What are Notes from Bartosz?
Short personal emails from Bartosz, who makes Quizado, about your trial, your plan and your nights. Reply to one and the reply goes straight to him. Turn the switch off to stop them; billing mail still arrives.
Can I change my emails from an email?
Yes. The emails Quizado sends you link to Email preferences, with the same switches as Notifications.
