The AI generator needs a paid plan. Pro gets 30 credits a month and Business gets 100 a month. Starter gets 30 credits once. The free Home plan has no credits, and credits bought without a plan cannot be spent.
Open AI credits
In the sidebar, click Settings, then click AI credits.
Read your balance
Credits available shows what you can spend now and about how many rounds and full nights that makes. The line under the bar says how many of your monthly credits are left.
Top up
Click Top up credits. Under Buy credits, click Buy 50 credits, Buy 100 credits or Buy 250 credits. Checkout opens in your browser. Bought credits stack on top of your allowance and never expire.

If you generate every week, a bigger plan may suit you better. The card under the packs says what Pro and Business include. Click See plans to compare them.
Tips
- Monthly credits reset on your renewal date and do not roll over. Purchased credits never expire.
- Planning a quiz with the AI is free. Only writing questions costs credits, and regenerating one question costs 1.
- Recent spend lists every credit you used, so you can see where they went.
Questions
How many questions is a credit?
One credit writes one question with its answer and three wrong ones. A round of 10 questions costs 10 credits.
What happens if the AI fails to write a question?
You get the credits back for the questions it could not write.
Can I buy credits on the free plan?
No. The AI generator needs a paid plan, so the free plan shows the plans instead of credit packs.
Do unused monthly credits carry over?
No. Monthly credits reset on your renewal date. Credits you buy stay until you use them.
